The Hilton Downtown Columbus is perfectly located across from the convention center. There is even a skywalk connecting the hotel to the convention center. A fairly new hotel, it is popular with business and leisure travelers alike. Some of the rooms face and inside atrium. I chose to stay in a room facing High St.. which leads into the Short North District. This is where you will find an array of shops and restaurants. There is valet parking as well as a self parking lot close by.
The Intercontinental Cleveland is located on the Cleveland Clinic campus. It is in a perfect location for those family members visiting patients of the clinic. The service is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The valet parking area is a bit small, but certainly serves its’ purpose.
This Sheraton in Columbus is formerly the Hyatt Capitol Square. It has been through a major renovation and all for the better. The rooms are a good size and very clean. If you get a chance to book a Club Room, please do! The Club Lounge includes breakfast and early evening snacks. It is well worth it!
The Hilton Netherland Plaza is a classic Art Deco hotel in downtown Cincinnati. It is very close to Fountain Square and connected to a small shopping arcade. The hotel is also connected to the Skywalk, which makes it very convenient to get around during bad weather. The Sunday Brunch at the Palm Court is to die for!
The Westin is one of my favorite hotels in Columbus. Is is very historic and has a grand lobby. It is a bit isolated in its’ location downtown, but worth a visit. My room was a junior suite which included a seperate living room. Nice amenities.
